Janalokamaya: A blog by Leonard C. Epafras

mimpi itu bukan sunyi tapi bisu yang kental ● waktu senyap menyekat merintih menyeberangi kata dan tindakan ● waktu tunduk tepekur tiarap menggantung bumi ● tenggelam antara kepenuhan dan jati diri

vast, vast sadness

boundless, boundless loss

the song has ended

the moon has been snatched away

in the midst of mournful city

there is a patriot's blood

patriotism is sometimes exhausted

blood sometimes runs dry

but the thread of your fragrant spirit has not been snapped

is it not so?

you have become a butterfly

I am a big big fan of Louis Cha's works. Herewith a poem appears in his work The Book and The Sword, Indonesian version of this wuxia literature is "Puteri Harum dan Kaisar". A really sad story about the romance between Jen Jialuo (Hokkien dialect: Tan Keh Lok) and Kasili (Xiāngfēi), the fragrant princess, the concubine of Ching's Chinese Emperor Qian Long. Kasili was a Muslim from Huei tribe.

It meant to be an exotopy of my self. An orifice of unsettled thinkings, reflections, and reports of the ongoing observation of the tiny fraction of the life.
